Bridging the capital gap for ambitious SMEs with growth potential.
About
Elbridge Capital Management AEDAKES is an Athens-based investment management firm dedicated to supporting businesses through their next phase of growth. Currently, it manages Elbridge Capital Fund I, a €24 million investment fund backed by the Hellenic Development Bank of Investments (HDBI) and other institutional investors.
The company integrates strong governance and ESG considerations throughout the investment lifecycle, supporting sustainable growth and long-term value creation.
The fund
Elbridge Capital Fund I invests in non-listed SMEs at the growth or mature stage — businesses with strong prospects and capable management teams. Capital is structured around each situation, limiting equity dilution so existing shareholders keep control, while we stay engaged alongside them.
Team
Elbridge was founded by four partners united by a shared belief: small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) deserve access to growth capital of the same quality as that available across European markets.
Portfolio
SMEs with sustainable business models, strong management teams, and a proven ability to create value.

Elbridge Capital Fund I is in its investment period. New positions are announced as they complete.

Our Approach
We support businesses ready for their next stage of growth—not early-stage ventures or companies in financial distress.
We take the mezzanine position. It ranks behind existing senior financing and ahead of equity.
We cover both positions, in plans where no other financing is in place — one instrument, one counterparty.
Contact
If your business is growing and looking for capital that adapts to it rather than the reverse, we would like to hear from you.
