About Elbridge Capital Partners

Elbridge Capital Partners (“Elbridge”) is an investment platform focused on private credit investments in the lower middle market. We purchase underperforming and nonperforming business loans from commercial banks and other lending institutions, and we provide structured credit solutions for companies unable to access traditional financing. The securities we purchase and originate, include senior secured commercial and industrial (“C&I”), owner-occupied commercial real estate and asset backed loans.

Executive Team

George Tsetsekos, PhD

With expertise in corporate finance and investments, Dr. Tsetsekos has served in advisory and consulting roles in several public companies and organizations in the US and abroad including The World Bank, The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Bear Stearns, FannieMae and Calamos Investments. Dr. Tsetsekos has experience in securitizations, risk management and hedging, asset pricing and valuations and M&A. Currently, he is the Francis Professor of Finance and Dean Emeritus at Drexel’s LeBow College of Business where he served as Dean of LeBow for 10 years and as VP of Academic Administration at Drexel for four years. With extensive service in the community, Dr. Tsetsekos serves on several boards, is a frequent speaker in forums/conferences and has published research in academic and professional journals. Dr. Tsetsekos is a senior advisor to the firm and does not engage in securities transactions.

Andreas Matopoulos, MSc

Andreas is offering more than 20 years of experience, rich business acumen & achievements in the fields of credit structuring, asset management, capital markets and private equity. Andreas is currently placed in Greece where he serves as MD, Head of European Markets at REVL Capital Group. He is involved in origination, execution and management of structured credit and capital markets transactions. Prior to REVL, Andreas was MD, Head of SE Europe at Horizon GI in the UK where he was instrumental in developing strategies in both debt and equity capital for various client initiatives including growth capital for business, asset backed, private placements, project finance and capital raises for selective limited partnerships. Prior to Horizon GI he has served as a senior banker at EFG International(UK) and at Coronation Asset Managers where in both roles he was heavily involved in asset management and credit structuring. Andreas has also been involved in the VC and PE space through his role as a senior Director at Bansec-Kontico Group, a single family office out from Melbourne. He started his career as an Equities trader and then proceeded to set up and run the derivatives operation for Komninos Securities, a Greek based securities firm. He has been instrumental in the setting up and held board advisory roles at various Real Estate and Asset Based Lending Investment schemes.

George Tzigiannis, MBA

George is a partner at StormHarbour; responsible for trading and syndication‎ of asset-backed products, having joined from Societe Generale, where he was MD, head of Europe and deputy global head of trading for the Securitized Products Group. George worked for RBS in London where he was head of Global Exotics ABS trading. Prior to RBS, George run Structured Transactions at Radian Europe as well as the Pricing desk for Radian Group in Philadelphia. In the US he held Decision Support appointments in underwriting and servicing of subprime credit cards, small business lines of credit and mortgages at Advanta, HSBC Finance (Metris) and Chase Home Finance.

Dimitrios Papatheoharis, CFA

Mr. Papatheoharis has more than 20 years of experience in the fields of structured finance, capital markets, fixed income trading and risk transfer technology. He has served as Chief Investment officer of Luminent Capital, a publicly traded investment firm, where he managed a $15 billion portfolio of non-agency mortgage loans and ABS securities and derivatives. He also served as Senior Vice President of Capital Markets at Radian Group Inc., where he managed Radian’s structured products business.

Ergkys Alizoti, MSFS

As an Associate, Mr. Alizoti evaluates transactions in the ABS, MBS, IOs, and derivatives markets. He is involved in all aspects of the firm’s active engagements, including debt and equity capital raises, sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions, and advisory services across several industries. He is also responsible for trading, portfolio analysis, risk management, and investment research. Mr. Alizoti holds a double master’s in Finance / Business Intelligence and Analytics from Saint Joseph’s University and a bachelor’s degree in Banking and Financial Management from University of Piraeus. He also holds series 7, 79, 63, 51 securities licenses.

Takis Stamatopoulos

Mr. Stamatopoulos has more than 30 years of experience in SME lending, credit structuring, and underwriting with Eurobank as well as other large financial institutions. He has served as the Senior Consultant of the National Bank of Greece and FBBank. Mr Stamatopoulos has also served as a General Manager for the Northern Greece Network of EFG Eurobank – Ergasias
