ELBRIDGE CAPITAL FUND I: LAUNCH WITH €23.99 MILLION FOR THE FINANCING OF GREEK SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED ENTERPRISES

Elbridge Capital Management, an alternative investment management company based in Athens and co-founded by Messrs. Nikos Andrianopoulos, Spyros Kalapodakis, Andreas Matopoulos, Agapitos Moschos, Dimitris Papatheocharis, and Giorgos Tsetsekos, announces its first fund, the Elbridge Capital Fund I, amounting to €23.99 million. The investment vehicle will provide medium-term investment capital with a horizon of 3 to 5 years to cover the intermediate needs of the companies being invested in, ranging from €1 to €3.5 million, which can complement their other funding sources.

This mezzanine financing will address the financial needs of the companies being invested in related to a) their organic growth, b) mergers and acquisitions, and c) recapitalization/restructuring of their capital structure, with the ultimate goal of the long-term and sustainable growth of these companies as well as the creation of new jobs.

Combining flexible financial tools, the Fund focuses on Greek Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) with potentially positive cash flows operating in all sectors of the Greek economy. The investment vehicle will support SMEs during its investments in them, aiming to tackle the challenges their managements face and ultimately create added value.

The anchor investor in Elbridge Capital Fund I is the Hellenic Development Bank of Investments (EATE), as part of the 'Debt Funds' project. Institutional investors with strategic roles in the Greek entrepreneurial ecosystem, including systemic banks and financial organizations, also participate.

From EATE, President Dr. Charis Lambropoulos and CEO Ms. Antigoni Limberopoulou stated: 'We are pleased to welcome the 29th investment vehicle in EATE's portfolio, 'Elbridge Capital Fund I'. Its targeted investment strategy works complementarily to the available financial tools, addresses real needs across a wide range of Greek SMEs, and contributes to EATE's strategic goal of #Investing_For_Growth. At the same time, the profile and dynamics of the management team create the conditions for the healthy growth of the companies they invest in.'

On behalf of Elbridge Capital Management, CEO Mr. Andreas Matopoulos stated: 'We are excited about the official launch of Elbridge Capital Fund I, which aims to meet the financing needs of Greek SMEs by providing the necessary capital to achieve their growth objectives. Elbridge Capital Management was founded by people with a shared entrepreneurial spirit and values such as honesty, integrity, and respect for businesses. Our principles are based on consistency, expertise, and value creation through responsible practices.
